My name is Reza Ghaderi and I am a pharmacist and I have owned and operated Broad Street Pharmacy since April 2008. Before I opened Broad Street Pharmacy, I was regional pharmacy manager for Safeway Pharmacy, with oversight for thirty regional pharmacies.
I always wanted to open a traditional pharmacy like old school apothecary, to service people as friends and neighbors – get to know them by name and establish a warm and friendly atmosphere for all my customers.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Falls Church City. Customers often stop in to say hello and talk about their day. Some bring their dogs since we are pet-friendly and we also provide pet medications.
After five amazing years in business in Falls Church, I finally moved my home and family from Alexandria to Falls Church City. I wanted my family to experience our connected and friendly community. Right away, they felt at home and were welcomed by wonderful neighbors. My kids adjusted to new schools, made new friends, and are taught by outstanding teachers. The Little City is walking and biking friendly, and offers many wonderful places and events that support our tight community bond. People say I smile a lot, even though the hours are long and we are open seven days a week. Why shouldn’t I smile! I can walk from my house to my shop in the shade, and greet my customers on as I make my way.
